The authors analyse the role of parliament in advancing the SDG through its reform agenda. In 2015 Malaysia reaffirmed its commitment to support implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The government has made efforts to incorporate into the national planning framework, the 17 SDGs and 169 targets involving the economy, society, and environment.
